nnnnSer policial civil é muito mais que um cargo público, é uma escolha de vida, uma vocação, afinal, desde o dia que iniciamos a nossa jornada na Polícia, vivemos e respiramos isto, mesmo após a aposentadoria, como é o meu caso. Hoje, mesmo aposentada, sinto orgulho de ser policial civil e também em ser a primeira mulher a ser presidente de uma entidade que tem 45 anos, a União Goiana dos Policiais Civis – UGOPOCI.
nnnnSendo policial pude viver momentos marcantes e descobri que eu poderia ser um caminho para que o cidadão pudesse ver a justiça sendo cumprida. Essa é uma nobre e árdua missão, que carrega como ônus a falta de reconhecimento e valorização por parte de alguns, é trabalhar sem data-base, sem possuir às vezes uma estrutura ideal para realizar o trabalho, é sair de casa sem saber se irá voltar, mas é acima de tudo, gratificante ao ver ao final de uma investigação ou de um atendimento na delegacia a paz e o conforto dado para a vítima e seus parentes.
nnnnComo diz no hino da Polícia Civil, “defender é o nosso dever, somos contra o crime e o mal, nossa história é feita de luta, de trabalho e dedicação, se preciso daremos a vida no cumprimento de nossa missão”.
nnnnO dia 09 de maio, data que representa o dia do policial civil em Goiás é muito mais que um momento comemorativo, é a lembrança dos homens e mulheres que já estiveram no fronte, é relembrar de tantos colegas que perderam suas vidas na pandemia enquanto faziam o seu trabalho, mas também é um dia para que possamos valorizar toda a história construída por seus integrantes ao longo dos mais de 200 anos da criação da Polícia Civil de Goiás, tanto os aposentados quanto os que estão no exercício de sua função, lutando por dias melhores. Ser policial civil é nunca desistir de um ideal maior: a justiça!
