“Um míssil aéreo guiado russo [atingiu] um centro de transfusão de sangue na Ucrânia. Esta noite, na comunidade de Kupiansk, na região de Kharkiv. Mortes e feridos são relatados”, escreveu o líder do Executivo ucraniano.
Zelensky disse na plataforma de mensagens Telegram que “a Rússia disparou foguetes e mísseis de cruzeiro na noite de sábado” e “alguns dos foguetes foram abatidos por caças de defesa aérea ucranianos”.
O Presidente ucraniano qualificou o ataque como “um crime de guerra”, que “por si só diz tudo sobre a agressão russa”, e garantiu que os serviços de emergência estão a trabalhar para extinguir o incêndio provocado pelo bombardeamento.
Zelensky apelou “a todos aqueles que valorizam a vida”, para quem “derrotar os terroristas” é, na sua opinião, “uma questão de honra”.
Horas antes, o chefe de Estado tinha confirmado um outro ataque com mísseis russos contra edifícios pertencentes ao fabricante de aviões Motor Sich, na região de Khmelnytsky, no oeste da Ucrânia.
Na sexta-feira à noite, as forças ucranianas atacaram um petroleiro russo que transportava crude no Mar Negro, uma operação para a qual Moscovo prometeu uma retaliação.
Nos últimos dias, vários ataques de ‘drones’ (aparelhos não tripulados) ucranianos tiveram como alvo a cidade de Moscou, a península da Crimeia, anexada pela Rússia em 2014, e navios russos no Mar Negro.
Os ataques russos aconteceram numa altura em que decorria na cidade de Jidá, na Arábia Saudita, uma reunião de conselheiros de segurança nacional e representantes de 40 países sobre o conflito na Ucrânia.
Zelensky disse no sábado que o encontro discutiu o plano de paz apresentado pela Ucrânia em 2022, com 10 pontos que Kiev considera serem indispensáveis para aceitar um entendimento com Moscou.
O plano representa “o retorno à ordem internacional” que “a Rússia violou com a sua agressão” contra a Ucrânia e que “é necessário restaurar”, acrescentou o Presidente.
O plano exige a retirada das tropas russas, incluindo da Crimeia, a cessação das hostilidades, a garantia da segurança nuclear e segurança energética, a implementação da Carta das Nações Unidas, justiça, a prevenção da escalada, a proteção do meio ambiente, libertação de prisioneiros e deportados, comida segura e a confirmação do fim da guerra.
