Com pinceladas marcantes do estilo impressionista, o artista retrata o cenário urbano que está guardado na memória ou na imaginação
nnnnMais um artista plástico doou obra para o acervo da Pinacoteca da Agência Brasil Central (ABC), projeto que está em andamento. A pintura é do artista plástico e professor Alexandre Liah e combina tinta com giz de cera, um trabalho singular de técnica mista. A tela intitulada “Caixa d’água com Figura Bicicleta” estará em breve nas paredes da ABC. O projeto é idealização do arquiteto e também artista plástico Dek, nosso colega de ABC Alan Kardec, e conta com apoio de toda a diretoria da autarquia. O telerradiojornal O Mundo em sua Casa desta segunda-feira (13) mostrou o processo de criação do artista em seu ateliê.
nnnnOs primeiros passos de Liah com os pincéis foram por influência de outros artistas goianos de renome, como Siron Franco e DJ Oliveira. Profissionalmente, começou a carreira em 1986 e, de lá pra cá, realizou exposições em Goiânia e outras capitais do país. O caminho de Liah no mundo das artes é marcado pelo expressionismo, com pinceladas em tinta acrílica nas telas e com giz no papel. Muitas das telas começam com o esboço no papel.
nnnnLiah também ganhou prêmios regionais e internacionais e reforça a importância da Pinacoteca da ABC para que a população goiana conheça mais seus artistas. “É uma iniciativa muito interessante, fazer uma boa seleção dos artistas”, disse. Sua trajetória faz dele um dos grandes nomes da pintura contemporânea goiana, sempre retratando nas paisagens urbanas uma recriação do real tendendo à abstração.
