“O divórcio foi muito, muito difícil no início”, revelou o ator em entrevista

Arnold Schwarzenegger abriu o jogo sobre o seu divórcio de Maria Shriver. O renomado ator, de 75 anos, refletiu sobre a separação “muito difícil” de Maria, com quem foi casado por 25 anos, durante uma entrevista ao The Hollywood Reporter.

“No início, o divórcio foi muito, muito difícil. Eventualmente, seguimos em frente. Tenho uma namorada maravilhosa, Heather Milligan, que é muito bem-sucedida. Tenho muito orgulho dela e a amo”, afirmou Schwarzenegger.

Em relação à ex-esposa, Shriver, o astro de Hollywood garantiu que são “amigos próximos”. “Estamos muito orgulhosos de como criamos nossos filhos. Apesar do drama que vivemos, passamos a Páscoa, o Dia das Mães, o Natal e os aniversários juntos – sempre juntos”, ressaltou.

“Se houvesse um Oscar de melhor divórcio, Maria e eu teríamos ganhado pelo menos um devido ao impacto nos nossos filhos. A doçura e gentileza que eles têm vêm da minha esposa. A disciplina e ética de trabalho são minhas”, completou.

Vale ressaltar que o ex-casal tem quatro filhos em comum: Katherine, de 33 anos, Christina, de 31, Patrick, de 29, e Christopher, de 25.
