Ação acontece em parceria com a Academia Brasileira de Laringe e Voz, e atenderá 25 pacientes da unidade de saúde do governo de Goiás

Em celebração ao Dia Mundial da Voz – 16 de abril, o Centro Estadual de Reabilitação e Readaptação Dr. Henrique Santillo – Crer, uma unidade da Secretaria do Estado da Saúde de Goiás (SES-GO), realiza neste sábado, 15 de abril, das 8 às 12 horas, um mutirão de exames de boca, laringe e garganta (videolaringoscopia) para 25 pacientes da unidade de saúde estadual. A ação faz parte da Campanha da Voz, promovida pela Academia Brasileira de Laringologia e Voz (ABLV) e pela Associação Brasileira de Otorrinolaringologia e Cirurgia Cérvico-Facial (Aborl-CCF).

O supervisor de residência médica de otorrinolaringologia do Crer e presidente da ABLV, Hugo Valter Lisboa Ramos, destaca que o foco da campanha é o esclarecimento da população sobre o câncer de laringe, boca e garganta. “São médicos voluntários do Brasil inteiro que oferecem o exame de laringoscopia gratuitamente à população. O objetivo é termos um diagnóstico precoce principalmente daqueles pacientes que são tabagistas, que apresentam rouquidão acima de quinze dias”.

O otorrinolaringologista explica que toda pessoa que tem uma rouquidão persistente precisa ser examinada porque o fumo não é o único fator de risco. “Nós temos o HPV que é um vírus muito disseminado hoje pelo contato do beijo. Temos também o refluxo que é outro fator de risco para o aparecimento do câncer. Então, a partir da campanha vamos identificar pacientes de risco que podem estar desenvolvendo um câncer de garganta e orientá-los a buscar atendimento especializado”, explica Hugo.

Essa é a 25ª Campanha da Voz da ABLV, que oferecerá atendimento médico voluntário em todo Brasil, num total de 96 dias de exames gratuitos para a avaliação de boca e garganta de pacientes fumantes. O objetivo é um diagnóstico precoce, o que aumenta as chances do paciente na luta contra a doença.

No Crer, 25 pacientes regulados para a unidade, que enquadram-se no perfil da campanha: fumantes, com mais de 40 anos e com percepção de incômodos na boca ou garganta, passaram por avaliação médica e farão o exame de videolaringoscopia para detectar possíveis doenças.
