nnnnMas colocar as mãos dentro das calças, e por vezes fora da roupa, é uma forma de acalmar os nervos, como indica uma investigação divulgada na revista Frontiers in Psychology. Contudo, salienta o estudo, que este ato não tem qualquer intuito erótico, uma vez que é frequente os homens massajarem também a zona junto às virilhas e até mesmo a barriga.
nnnnUma vez que esta situação pode causar algum embaraço, ou problemas se acontecer no trabalho, o melhor é encontrar outros pontos de relaxamento no corpo, como as mãos, os braços ou o pescoço.
nnnnE, como não poderia deixar de ser, meter as mãos dentro das calças tem, claro, algo de sexual, mais concretamente de vontade de afirmação. Segundo Rob Kominiarek, um médico de família e fundador do Instituto Médico Alpha Male, este ato masculino é uma forma de afirmar o seu domínio.
nnnnO cariz sexual acontece quando o ato é feito perante uma mulher, se estiver um homem por perto, pode indicar vontade de ‘marcar território’.
