Geralda Carvalho, viúva do cantor Rick Sollo, da dupla Rick & Renner, soube da morte do marido pelas redes sociais depois de desembarcar no Brasil na noite de terça-feira (22).
A mulher do sertanejo estava em Orlando, nos Estados Unidos, quando recebeu a informação de que o helicóptero em que Rick viajava havia desaparecido em Santa Catarina. Ela decidiu retornar imediatamente ao Brasil, mas já estava em voo quando a morte do artista e dos outros quatro ocupantes da aeronave foi confirmada.
Segundo o portal LeoDias, Geralda só teve acesso à notícia depois do pouso, quando conseguiu se conectar à internet. Foi então que viu publicações nas redes sociais e mensagens enviadas por amigos e familiares informando que Rick havia morrido.
A viúva passou mal ainda durante o desembarque e precisou de auxílio. Após passar pelos procedimentos de imigração, ela recebeu atendimento no aeroporto e “foi estabilizada no local, sem necessidade de ser encaminhada para o hospital”, segundo o portal.
Depois de receber atendimento, Geralda deixou o aeroporto por uma saída reservada, entrou no carro da família e seguiu, acompanhada pelo motorista, em direção a Sorocaba, no interior de São Paulo.

Rick Sollo, de 59 anos, morreu após a queda do helicóptero em que viajava na Serra Catarinense. A aeronave havia decolado de Porto Belo com destino a São Joaquim na segunda-feira (21), mas desapareceu durante o trajeto. As buscas seguiram durante a madrugada e mobilizaram cerca de 40 bombeiros, cães de busca, drones e apoio aéreo.
Os destroços foram localizados na manhã de terça-feira (22), em uma área de mata e de difícil acesso na região da Serra Catarinense. Nenhum dos cinco ocupantes sobreviveu.
Além de Rick, estavam no helicóptero o empresário Bruno Avelar, o videomaker Paulo Soares, o piloto Antônio Roberto Nóbrega de Araújo e o copiloto Leopoldo Barros Teixeira. Todos morreram no acidente.
As causas da queda ainda são investigadas. O Centro de Investigação e Prevenção de Acidentes Aeronáuticos (Cenipa) foi acionado para apurar as circunstâncias do acidente.
