O Tribunal de Contas dos Municípios do Estado de Goiás (TCM-GO) validou a nota de 95,64% no índice de transparência do Legislativo da Câmara Municipal de Goiânia. O resultado reconhece os avanços da gestão do presidente da Casa, vereador Romário Policarpo (Cidadania), credenciando a instituição para receber o Selo Diamante, a mais alta honraria concedida pelo Programa Nacional de Transparência Pública (PNTP), da Associação dos Membros dos Tribunais de Contas do Brasil (Atricon).
A certificação oficial deve ser chancelada pela Atricon no próximo dia 11 de novembro e reflete o esforço de modernização promovido por Romário Policarpo, que encerrará em breve seu último biênio à frente da presidência. O vereador vai às urnas no próximo domingo (04/10) como candidato a deputado estadual.
“Essa nova conquista é fruto do esforço coletivo e constante dos nossos servidores e do apoio fundamental dos 37 vereadores. Sem o envolvimento de todos, não teríamos alcançado avanços tão significativos”, afirma Policarpo
Nos últimos anos, a Câmara Municipal de Goiânia alcançou um novo patamar no compromisso com a gestão pública e com a prestação de contas à sociedade. A conquista do Selo Diamante representa a consolidação de uma trajetória de avanços contínuos. Em dezembro de 2025, Policarpo e os demais integrantes da Mesa Diretora da Câmara receberam o certificado e o troféu referentes ao Selo Ouro, concedido pelo PNTP devido ao desempenho do ciclo anterior.
Entre 2024 e 2025, o índice de transparência do Parlamento goianiense registrou um salto expressivo de 73,47%, atingindo a marca de 91,49% — o maior patamar entre todas as Câmaras Municipais dos 246 municípios do estado de Goiás.
Para ampliar o acesso à informação, a atual gestão criou a Diretoria de Transparência e Proteção de Dados, encarregada de alinhar as rotinas administrativas aos rigorosos critérios exigidos pela Atricon. Com a medida, a Câmara passou a disponibilizar no Portal da Transparência 100% dos itens considerados essenciais pelo PNTP, superando amplamente os 42,86% registrados em 2024.
