Ano após ano, o câncer de pulmão é a doença oncológica que mais mata no mundo. A alta mortalidade dessa doença se deve principalmente ao diagnóstico tardio. Você sabe quais sintomas deve ficar atento?
Mike Hansen, médico pneumologista há quase 10 anos, citado pelo Daily Express, alerta para um sintoma de câncer de pulmão “que a maioria das pessoas desconhece”: alterações nos dedos e unhas.
O médico explica que esse tipo de câncer pode, em alguns casos, alterar o tamanho das pontas dos dedos, que ficam arredondadas. As unhas, por sua vez, ficam mais largas, curvadas para baixo e moles. “É definitivamente algo que precisa ser investigado e um potencial sinal de câncer de pulmão”, diz.
Tosse persistente ou com sangue, falta de ar, dores no peito, rouquidão, fadiga, infecções torácicas recorrentes, como bronquite ou pneumonia, dificuldade para engolir e redução do apetite são outros sintomas a que você deve ficar atento, acrescenta Hansen.
