O ministro Alexandre de Moraes, do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF), deu prazo de cinco dias para a Procuradoria-Geral da República (PGR) se manifestar sobre o recurso do ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro contra a decisão que o proibiu de receber visitas na prisão domiciliar pelo prazo de 30 dias.
No mês passado, a medida foi determinada pelo ministro Alexandre de Moraes após o senador Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) publicar nas redes sociais uma carta escrita pelo ex-presidente. Jair Bolsonaro tem contra ele uma restrição que o proíbe de usar a internet, inclusive por meio de terceiros.
Na mesma decisão, Moraes acrescentou que o ex-presidente está proibido de receber visitas com finalidade político-eleitoral até o término das eleições de outubro.
Bolsonaro também não poderá divulgar manifestos político-eleitorais, inclusive por meio de terceiros, por qualquer meio de divulgação.No recurso apresentado ao STF, a defesa sustenta que o ex-presidente não pode ter suas liberdades de pensamento e de manifestação de ideias restringidas em função de sua condenação.
No ano passado, Bolsonaro foi condenado a 27 anos e três meses de prisão no processo de trama golpista. Em seguida, após passar por uma cirurgia, ele ganhou o direito de cumprir prisão domiciliar para se recuperar de uma pneumonia bacteriana.
