O presidente acusou os EUA de promoverem “uma guerra contra as infraestruturas civis, os recursos alimentares e os meios de subsistência da população”.
“Se os americanos são guerreiros, que enfrentem nossas corajosas forças militares”, acrescentou Pezeshkian, que reiterou que o povo iraniano “não pode ser intimidado” e que o país persa “não se renderá” a tais pressões.
