A Netflix revelou oficialmente uma nova série baseada no universo de “Stranger Things”, com estreia prevista para 2028. A série, criada pelos irmãos Duffer e pela argumentista Kate Trefry, é um “spin-off” em live-action e tem como pano de fundo os anos 50, antes dos eventos da série original.

Já faz quase um ano que a Netflix encerrou a história de “Stranger Things”, mas, como a própria empresa já havia indicado, isso não significa que esse universo deixará de ser explorado em projetos futuros.
Nesta semana, a Netflix anunciou oficialmente “Outros Mundos: Uma Aventura Stranger Things”, um novo spin-off em live-action criado pelos irmãos Duffer e pela roteirista Kate Trefry, que também fez parte da equipe da série original.
“A série ‘Outros Mundos: Uma Aventura Stranger Things’ se passa na década de 1950, décadas antes de o grupo de Stranger Things descobrir uma conspiração sobrenatural na pequena cidade de Hawkins, em Indiana”, diz a sinopse divulgada pela Netflix.
A história apresentada em “Outros Mundos: Uma Aventura Stranger Things” se passa até mesmo antes dos acontecimentos da peça teatral “Stranger Things: The First Shadow”, cuja trama é ambientada em 1959.
“Há muitos anos sonhamos com ‘Outros Mundos: Uma Aventura Stranger Things’, e ver a série se tornar realidade é uma sensação surreal, uma verdadeira euforia”, afirmaram Matt e Ross Duffer em comunicado.
“Os irmãos Duffer me deram meu primeiro trabalho remunerado em Hollywood e, desde então, tem sido uma experiência inacreditável”, declarou Trefry. “Agora, tenho a enorme honra e o privilégio de tirar do papel este novo capítulo de ‘Stranger Things’ ao lado deles e do nosso incrível diretor, Joe Wright.”
